W.E.U.

I'm linking up with Leeann, Sami, and Dana today for my Weekend Update!

Friday evening:
We had our monthly siblings dinner. Friday night was @ April and Josh's place. They made chicken tortilla soup for the main course. I made desserts to take...chocolate chip cookie dough dip and pumpkin spice rice krispie treats!

(Smudges on the mirror ended up on my face right between the eyes...oops! ) The rice krispie treats were super yummy! The pumpkin spice pudding really added something! You don't actually make the pudding. You just add the powder to the marshmallows. You can find the recipe HERE!

Saturday:
Brent scheduled me a massage, manicure, and pedicure! Seriously?! How awesome is my husband? :) I haven't had any of those lovely treats in a while so it was such a nice afternoon for me!

The massage was at Massage Envy right down the street from us. I had never gotten a massage from there before. It was awesome. The therapist, Hollie, was the head therapist there and she did such a good job. I felt very relaxed when I left. My next stop was a few doors down at the nail spa. I had a manicure and a pedicure.

That night Rowen spent the night with my parents and Brent & I headed over to our friends house to hang out, catch up, and watch football! I loved catching up with my girlfriends who I hadn't seen in a while.

Outfit of the night...polka dot silk shirt, urban outfitter jeans, and vintagey cowboy boots :)

Sunday:
Went to church and then lunch at Zoe's. At 3pm, Rowen had his 12 month professional pictures! I can't wait to see them!! He wasn't being very cooperative for Katie but I know she captured some very cute moments. At this age he is very curious and wants to touch and look at everything especially if it's new. There were LOTS of things to look at today at Ellington Ag Center. His new loves=leaves!

After Row went to bed, Brent and I watched The Campaign( and made more rice krispie treats). Brent has been wanting to see it for a while. It was a typical Will Ferral movie!...very funny and kind of dumb. haha.

We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as much as we enjoyed ours!

  1. I love the idea of a monthly siblings dinner. I might steal that when my youngest brother graduates from college!

Super cute girls night out outfit.

Also could your husband call my husband and suggest a spa day? hahaha. That's awesome!
