13 week bump update!

I have felt great this week! I can't believe I am in my second trimester. Crazy! Our next appointment is on June 4th and we will get to hear baby's heartbeat for the first time. I always loved hearing Rowen's heartbeat and I know I will love that about this baby too! My appointment was actually suppose to be today but my dr is on vacation.

How Far Along:  13 weeks

Size of baby: Baby Easley is the size of a peach.  She/He is 2.9" long and weighs .81 ounces.

Maternity Clothes: Not yet. I have bought a few items in a size up from what I normally wear so I can stay in cute regular clothes. I pretty much hate maternity wear except for the tank tops.

Gender: ??? Hoping to find out at 17 weeks. We will see what the dr says! We found out at 18 week with Rowen but we'll actually be in FL when I turn 18 weeks and I just don't want to wait till 19.

Movement: Not yet.

Sleep: I'm sleeping great! I've upped the number of bathroom breaks to 2 per night now. I can still sleep on my stomach which is something I will miss in a few weeks.

What I miss: Nothing really. I would love to have a few spicy tuna rolls but I'm not craving them or anything so it's ok that I have to wait for a few months.

Cravings: pasta salad, chicken salad sandwiches, Wendy's frosties, and fruit tea. I made a gallon of fruit tea Sunday night and it's already gone!

Symptoms: I have a bit of lower back soreness after running but its not bad enough to keep me from exercising.

Best Moment this week:  Running around with my sweet boy and not getting out of breath. I know the shortness of breath will come soon so I am soaking up all the "chase rowen at the park" fun while I can.

What I'm Loving...

It's that time of the week again...linking up with Jaime for WILW!

I'm LOVING...
this Tennessee Love tank top! It's so comfy and not to mention pretty cute. It's by States of Mind Clothing Co. I found it at a department store here in Nashville earlier today.

I really like this one too!

I'm LOVING...
the new summer Nike running shorts colors! I got these over the weekend and love them!

I'm going back this weekend to get these two pairs. It helps that they're by one get one 50%off!

I'm LOVING...
this little 19 month old...always! He is so very active now a days( and has been pretty much since he started walking )! He keeps me on my toes. There is really never a dull moment during the day.

I'm LOVING...
these monogrammed plastic mason jars! I got one for my sister in law for her birthday and I am definitely going to have to order one for myself!
You can find them HERE!

12 week bump update!

The bump has gotten a little bigger since last week. If I wear a cotton stretchy tank top, you can definitely tell I am pregnant. It's still crazy to me that I am already showing quite a bit for 12 weeks. My current bump is about the size of what it was when I was 16 weeks with Rowen!

How Far Along:  12 weeks

Size of baby: Baby Easley is the size of a plum.  She/He is 2.1" long and weighs .49 ounces.

Maternity Clothes: No.

Gender: ???

Movement: Not yet.

Sleep: I'm sleeping great! I've upped the number of bathroom breaks to 2 per night now. I can still sleep on my stomach which is something I will miss in a few weeks.

What I miss: Nothing really besides the 2 things that I listed last week. I would really love a club salad or a club sandwich both packed with ham and turkey but  I know I'll just need to pass on those for 6 more months. I think I will be requesting a huge club salad as my first meal after giving birth this time!

Cravings: pasta salad, hummus, anything chocolate-y

Symptoms: Nothing right now.

Best Moment this week:  Getting out and running! And it felt great. I haven't really run much since finding out I was pregnant even though I knew that it was fine. But now that I have done it, I'll be trying to run a few days a week.

The Easley's Summer Bucket List

I have seen a few people lately list things they are planning on doing with their family this summer and thought what a great idea! So I made a small "summer bucket list" of things that I would love for the 3 of us to do together this summer!

I'm sure more things will get added to the bucket list but I think these will be great to start with!

I love to take pictures. For those of you who read my blog, you know this to be very true! I found this free Summer Photo Checklist printable that I thought I would share with you as well.
You can find the printable HERE!

Rowen's toddler room!

Rowen is going to be getting a room makeover soon. He LOVES trains so his room is going to be train themed. If he doesn't have a new room in the next few months, he will have his train room when the new baby arrives( well, a bit before the baby comes )! We have a toddler bed already but I haven't decided if I'm going to put him in a toddler bed or a twin bed....decisions...decisions. If we don't use the toddler bed then my parents are going to use it at their house. I have gathered up some looks I like. We are either going to go with train bedding and a few train things around his room or go with madras bedding with train prints on the wall( I'm leaning towards the madras ). Here are some of the things I am liking right now...

Bedding/Rugs:
{with train sheets of course}

Decor:
{some prints I thought were really cute}

{a couple train shelves. love this!}

These are just some ideas floating around in my head. Nothing is definite yet! I would love to hear what items y'all like!

Weekend Update.

{Saturday}
It was a gorgeous day here in Nashville. The sun was out all day long and it was in the high 70's! We made a Dunkin run that morning. Brent and I got some delicious donuts and iced coffee!

Rowen loves being outside so we went out on the balcony and enjoyed the sunshine and the nice cool breeze. He gave each and everyone of the plants out there some kisses! It's just about the cutest thing and makes us laugh evertime he does it.

While Rowen took his nap, I headed off to the pool while Brent stayed in and watched tv. When I opened the front door, a little package was waiting for me! It was a cute little outfit that I ordered for Rowen last week. Love it! He has a few more coming soon!

I didn't put any sunscreen on  b/c I only had planned to be out there for about 30 minutes...30 minutes turned into and hour and a half. And yes, I got a little burned. Despite the picture, it was super sunny the whole time I was out there! {a cloud was passing over when I snapped this}

I also gave myself a mani and a pedi with some new polish I bought a few days ago.

That night Rowen stayed with my parents while Brent and I headed off to a gala. It was for the Charter Schools of TN and it was at the Country Music Hall of Fame. But on the way there I had to make a quick stop at...Wendy's for a frosty! They're my sweet craving of the moment.

Us at the Gala.

11 week bump update!

Today is the beginning of the bump pictures! I am definitely showing and a lot earlier than I was with Rowen. I hear that you show earlier and earlier with each baby. That is definitely true this time around.

How Far Along:  11 weeks

Size of baby: Baby Easley is the size of a lime.  She/He is 1.6" long and weighs .25 ounces.

Maternity Clothes: No.

Gender: ???

Movement: Not yet.

Sleep: I'm sleeping great! I already have to get up at least once during the night to use the restroom. It's always around 2AM!

What I miss: Only 2 things. Venti iced coffees! I had one of these almost everyday prior to getting pregnant so I pretty much still miss them! And Barry's Bootcamp!! I miss Barry's so much but those workouts are WAY too intense for a pregnant gal.

Cravings: pasta salad, fruit, and veggie subs @ Subway!

Symptoms: Nothing right now.

Best Moment this week: Going to the zoo with Rowen and not feeling out of breath and exhausted when we left! I have my energy back!

A trip to Arkansas and Mother's Day.

On Friday morning my mom, Rowen, and I set off to Searcy, AR. My cousin, Rebekah graduated from Harding University on Saturday and we were so excited to be going to AR to be there for her big day. My dad and Brent weren't able to go b/c they had to work on Friday. It only took 5 1/2 hours to get there. That's definitely not too long of a trip!
{road trip time}

 Now we will be going to Destin. Fl this summer with Brent's family and I am already dreading the drive. 9+ hours in the car....ugh! So the drive from Memphis to Searcy was so boring. If you have ever been on that stretch of road, you know what I'm talking about. Nothing but fields and fields and more fields. Every now and then we would pass a gas station or a country store. I'm such a city girl and don't see how people live out there! But whatever suits you, right?!
{passing the time by coloring}

{and watching Thomas the Train while holding my hand!}

 We arrived that afternoon, checked in to the hotel, and found our family. It was SO good to see them. We ate dinner that night at one of like 3 sit down restaurants in the town, the Rib Crib! haha. It was actually really tasty. After dinner, we went to see Rebekah's dorm room and take a little tour around campus. I had never been to Harding before. It is such a beautiful campus! And huge! After touring we went out for fro-yo and by this time it was way past Rowen's bed time so we quickly hit the sack after our frozen yogurt trip.

Graduation didn't start till 1pm on Saturday so we just too our time that morning eating breakfast. visiting, and hanging around.
{Rowen's a big eater. For breakfast he ate half a Belgium waffle, a cup of yogurt, and a banana}

{hanging around before getting ready}

We got ready and left to head to campus which was right down the road at about 11:30pm. Once we got there, we took some pictures and then looked around the bookstore. My mom bought 2 new books for Rowen to keep him occupied for at east part of the graduation ceremony.

{Me, Rowen, Rebekah, and my mom}

{The whole group at the top &  individual pics on the bottom}

{What Rowen thought of graduation! haha. Rebekah graduated with a Fashion Merchandising degree}

After eating a late lunch with everyone, we headed home around 4:00 and got back into Nashville around 9:30pm. Rowen didn't nap well on Friday or Saturday so we let him sleep in on Sunday morning and I got to sleep in too! I slept till 11:30am and felt great when I woke up.

{me and my little one that made me a mama!}

Brent fixed pancakes for a late breakfast. Chocolate chip for me and blueberry for him...can't forget a yummy cup of decaf either( a bit of sarcasm there! ).

Brent and Rowen gave me a Keurig coffee maker, Nike shirts and headbands, and really pretty flowers for Mother's Day! It was a lovely day just being lazy and enjoying each others company.
