Make Cookies Monday Link-Up!!

I'm linking up with Meredith over at The Tichenor Family for "Make Cookies Monday"! She has the most fun link ups and I always enjoy participating!!

I knew exactly what cookies I was going to make right when I saw her link up. I headed to the store this morning b/c I just needed 2 things from the recipe that I didn't have at home. I pinned cherry chocolate kiss cookies a few days ago and really wanted to try them so that's what I decided to make today.

This recipe is super simple and it didn't take long at all. You can go HERE for the recipe. I had a cute little helper that made this baking time a little bit sweeter!

Rowen helped me mix the powdered sugar and the butter. He did a good job :)

Then he discovered the kisses and played with those while I finished up mixing the dough and cherries together. Bottom left picture: giving the chocolate kiss some love.

I had to chop up 1/2 C of cherries but other than that, I just mixed the ingredients together, rolled the dough into one inch balls, added a thumb print in the middle, and let them bake for 14 minutes. They turned out really cute and I like that they are pink! Perfect for Valentine's Day!
